#T5W | Authors You'd Want To Meet at Book Expo America & Bookcon

Top 5 Wednesday is group that was created by Lainey and is currently hosted by Samantha. A topic is posted every month wherein if you want to, you can post about your top 5 picks for said topics.

The topic for May 4th is "authors you'd want to meet at book expo america & bookcon". I am not going to those events but I wanted to write about the top 5 authors I want to meet from there.

List of the authors who will attend said events can be found:
  1. Cassandra Clare: I love all of Cassandra Clare's books. She's currently my second favorite author (after JK Rowling). Reading her books will send you in an emotional roller coaster. The character she creates are very easy to love and adore. My favorite male character comes from her book series, "The Infernal Devices" - William Herondale. I can't wait for the next book for Lady Midnight because it ended in quite a cliffhanger.
  2. Richelle Mead: The vampire academy series was one of the first series I read and I loved it. Her set of vampires are badass and amazing to read. The story and the world she created was really interesting. I haven't had time to read 'The Glittering Court' yet but it's on top of my TBR pile.
  3. Laini Taylor: Oh my god. I was really amazed with the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy. When I first started reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone, I put it down because I don't have the time to marathon the books. When you read her books, you don't want to stop. The world she created was an amazing one and her way of writing is beautiful to read. I'm so excited for the book she will release later this year!
  4. Kendare Blake: I love her Anna Dressed in Blood duology. It was a mixture of badass-ness and feels. I haven't had time to read all of the books from the Goddess War trilogy but I plan to in the future.
  5. Jenny Han: The only book I've read of Jenny Han is 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' and I loved that so much. I haven't had time to read 'PS I Still Love You' but I can't wait to read it after I finish this semester!
